A woman has has died after an early morning shooting in North York.

Shortly after 2 a.m. on Sunday, Toronto Paramedic Services received a call about a shooting on Replin Rd. in the Lawrence Heights neighbourhood. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was transported to a local trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.

The area, near Allen Rd. and Lawrence Ave. W., has been closed off pending an investigation.
